Florian Haslinger
Florian is the managing director of the Swiss Seismological Service (SED), ETH Zurich, and also the appointed manager of the GEM Model Facility.
A seismologist by training with a PhD from ETH Zurich, he spent some time as PostDoc in the USA before joining the CTBTO/PTS in Vienna helping to build and maintain the global station network of the International Monitoring System for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty.
Back at the SED since 2008 he is responsible (under the Director SED) for overall coordination and business management at the SED. Florian joined the GEM team in Summer 2010 as manager of the Model Facility.
